The Institute of Graduate Studies (IGS), through DOT-Uni successfully conducted its ISO Internal Audit for two of its flagship graduate programs, assessing compliance with quality management standards and reaffirming the Institute's commitment to continuous improvement in graduate education.

On July 20, 2026, the Internal Audit was held for the Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education (PhD DevEd) program led by Internal Auditor Dr. Joan C. Ravago. The audit examined program processes, documentation, and quality assurance mechanisms in line with ISO standards, ensuring that the program continues to meet the rigorous requirements expected of doctoral-level education.
Following this, on July 28, 2026, Internal Auditor Associate Professor Geraldine G. Tayag conducted the Internal Audit for the Master of Science in Educational Management (MSED) program. The review focused on the program's adherence to established quality protocols and its ongoing efforts to strengthen educational management training at the graduate level.

Both audits were conducted with the participation of key academic officials, including Dr. Regidor G. Gaboy, Department Chair, Education Policy and Practice (DOT-Uni), Dr. Jennifer V. Fajanela, Department Chair, Education Policy and Practice (Residential Graduate Programs), and Dr. Leila M. Collantes, IGS Registrar, and DOT-Uni Personnel.

Their combined oversight ensured a thorough and standards-based evaluation of both programs, reflecting the Institute's dedication to maintaining excellence and accountability across its graduate offerings.

The ISO Internal Audit process remains a vital component of the Institute's quality management system, allowing program leaders and administrators to identify areas for improvement, ensure compliance with international standards, and uphold the integrity of graduate education. Results and recommendations from both audits are expected to guide continued enhancements to the PhD DevEd and MSED programs in the coming academic terms.
