Quality Assurance Coordinator from the Distance, Open, and Transnational University (DOT-Uni) presented her studies at the 38th Asian Association of Open Universities (AAO) conference, research proposal 2025, October 20-23, 2025, in Beijing, China.
Asst. Prof. Maria Celia M. Fernando, Quality Assurance Coordinator of DOT-Uni and faculty member of the Department of Communication and Development Studies, College of Arts and Social Sciences, presented her research titled "From Access to Impact: CLSU DOT-Uni's Evolution in Distance, Open, and Transnational Education."
Presented online, Asst. Prof. Fernando's study delved into the transformative evolution of CLSU DOT-Uni, emphasizing its continued journey from ensuring access to promoting measurable impact in distance and open education. Her presentation highlighted the multi-phases of DOT-Uni's transformative journey, its learner support system, faculty and student incentive systems, industry collaboration, and responsive programs. It also covered the Graduate Impact Survey overview that evaluates the effectiveness and relevance of DOT-Uni programs. She also underscored the Quality Assurance Framework that anchors DOT-Uni's operations and shared her insights on the future direction of the DOT-Uni toward 2030, envisioning stronger partnerships, global engagement, and sustainable innovation in digital learning.
